NOTHING TO SEE HERE, MOVE ON

Thanks for checking this site, but Imaginary Daughter has moved to my main site and it won’t be updated here anymore. I’m just keeping this alive for a while so folks might check it out and see if there’s anything in the site’s coding they might want to take for their own site.

FEY WINDS BY NICOLE CHARTRAND
Fey Winds by Nicole Chartrand
(links to another site)

Nicole Chartrand’s artwork is simply stunning, though in a nuanced way that never feels “too much”. The characters in Fey Winds are funny and lovable. And the story has been really intriguing so far.

The only problem with this comic is that it only updates once a week… which might just be… too long of a wait… (a little hypocrisy there, huh?)

Thanks! I haven't seen Tenchi Muyo but I'm generally aware of its plot, and I can promise you ID is nothing like it ;) Edit: by which I mean that I know it involves aliens and a harem of girls fighting over one guy (the first harem anime?) and about a  [...]

Love the color! This may be on purpose, but this really feels like Tenchi Muyo. . . ~AA

I used to work at a company in Dallas that had a similar view of a parking garage and another skyscraper across the street. . .

HA! Facehugger! That's awesome. . . Gotta love a random Aliens reference! ~AA

I hadn't seriously tried to get fully the same cross-browser results until now. I'm getting an important number of Mac visitors (however, it seems most of them don't use Safari). Opera seems to be behaving quite well, it's Safari the one I'm having problems now (though only after I devoted countless  [...]

WOE IS ME
Woe is me

In the past couple of weeks I haven’t been able to update. Mind you, that’s not a bad thing.

And I don’t even mean that in the “of course, your comic sucks anyways” way. Rather, my life has taken an interesting an exciting turn (about which I’ll talk later… it’s a secret for now, shh!) The gist of it is that I have to work extra-hard for a little bit more, after which I’ll be able, if not to sink as much time into the comic as I wish, at least to improve the quality time I devote to this.

In turn, this has forced me to re-evaluate where this comic is going (after a mere 13 published strips, you say? Well, better now than later on, I say.) So when I start drawing again, around mid-March or perhaps early April, expect some changes to the comic. Drastic changes, even.

In the meantime, I’ve been working on my spare time on this site’s design. My goodness, does IE suck! And I mean, I try to be objective and often find myself defending Microsoft from my more easily-exhaled OS friends, but - just - agh! Over half of the time spent on this site is just to iron out the differences so that it looks as well (or as bad) in IE as it does in Firefox.

For the most part, it’s working, even if the design is far from finished. With some extensive reading, I’m getting the site to work more or less properly in all browsers.

IE’s lack of suport for div:hover simply broke my heart, though.
