BASIC INSTRUCTIONS BY SCOTT MEYER
Basic Instructions by Scott Meyer
(links to another site)

Scott Meyer does standup comedy, and it shows. He’s completely hilarious. The drawing style (traced photos) might seem odd at first but it really makes the effect of the jokes that much better.

Recommended by Scott Adams of Dilbert fame - and by yours truly :grin:

Thanks! I haven't seen Tenchi Muyo but I'm generally aware of its plot, and I can promise you ID is nothing like it ;) Edit: by which I mean that I know it involves aliens and a harem of girls fighting over one guy (the first harem anime?) and about a  [...]

Love the color! This may be on purpose, but this really feels like Tenchi Muyo. . . ~AA

I used to work at a company in Dallas that had a similar view of a parking garage and another skyscraper across the street. . .

HA! Facehugger! That's awesome. . . Gotta love a random Aliens reference! ~AA

I hadn't seriously tried to get fully the same cross-browser results until now. I'm getting an important number of Mac visitors (however, it seems most of them don't use Safari). Opera seems to be behaving quite well, it's Safari the one I'm having problems now (though only after I devoted countless  [...]

OPINIONS WANTED
Opinions wanted

I’ve been getting a lot of visits lately and I’d like to ask you what your impressions of the site are. I’m aiming more for the technical side of it - did it look terrible on your browser? How, exactly, and what is your browser/preferences (screen resolution, text size, etc.)? Did it look alright?

Comments on the strip itself are also very welcomed, specially considering that most, if not all of the visitors come from ComicPress and are likely cartoonist themselves.

need to pull the text back from the right side of the comments box… padding or margins

admin Says:

Thanks, Ashley. I assume you’re using IE6, which is giving me lots of trouble… I’m looking into that ^^;
Edit: I think I got it now (though there’s still a lot of broken stuff in IE6…)

unknown1 Says:

I think the text is a little on the small side i am on a 24 inch monitor and it looks great however your background of butterflies cuts off and has a 2 inch blue???(color blind) border around the edge

unknown1 Says:

forgot to say love the comic and also i am usinf firfox latest version.

karchesky Says:

Thanks for your input, unknown1. I was thinking the text might have been too small but wasn’t sure. I made it a bit bigger for the entries’ text, comments and so. I hope it’s better now…

I also took the chance and changed the old butterflies background for the starry one to match the header. I thought I was on the safe side before (it was 1600 pixels wide!), but just to be sure this one is 2000 pixels wide ^^;

Anyways, I hope you keep reading the comic. See you around!
