COUNT YOUR SHEEP BY ADRIAN RAMOS
Count Your Sheep by Adrian Ramos
(links to another site)

This comic is just adorable. If it doesn’t make you laugh, it’s because it’s making you cry or just feel like hugging the protagonists.

Although both Katie and Sheep are great, my favourite is (surprisingly) Laurie. Keep fighting, Laurie! And don’t despair over your weight!

Adrian Ramos, where’s volume two of CYS??

Thanks! I haven't seen Tenchi Muyo but I'm generally aware of its plot, and I can promise you ID is nothing like it ;) Edit: by which I mean that I know it involves aliens and a harem of girls fighting over one guy (the first harem anime?) and about a  [...]

Love the color! This may be on purpose, but this really feels like Tenchi Muyo. . . ~AA

I used to work at a company in Dallas that had a similar view of a parking garage and another skyscraper across the street. . .

HA! Facehugger! That's awesome. . . Gotta love a random Aliens reference! ~AA

I hadn't seriously tried to get fully the same cross-browser results until now. I'm getting an important number of Mac visitors (however, it seems most of them don't use Safari). Opera seems to be behaving quite well, it's Safari the one I'm having problems now (though only after I devoted countless  [...]

ID featured ComicPress site, author caught with pants down

Imaginary Daughter has just been featured in the ComicPress site, and I feel both honored for this, and more than a bit ashamed that you get to see ID in its current broken form (specially if you are an IE6 user). Nevertheless, I want to thank Tyler both for his extremely kind words and for this awesome thing called ComicPress that he’s generously unleashed on us. Like he says, we’ve never exchanged words before, but his hard work on ComicPress has allowed me to get my comic online the way I want it, so I really appreciate his generosity. Also like he says, the people in the forum are awesome, and a lifesaver more often than not. Well, sitesavers at the very least.

To the new visitors, a couple of things. First, again, sorry that everything’s broken around here. I have a very specific vision for this site on mind, and though I’ve been working on it, it’s not done yet. The site is under constant construction, which basically means that something else will be broken every time you visit. Only the main page currently works, more or less, and even that only if you aren’t using IE6. But, I’m working on that. It’s mostly CSS stuff, the programming part is almost done.

If you are a ComicPress user, please feel free to ask about anything you’d like to implement in your own site. I plan to put up a download link with all of this site’s tweaks once it’s done, but in the meantime we can exchange info the way our ancestors did it, through IM and blog comments. And then there is the aforementioned ComicPress forum, which I read all the time, so… you know.

As for the comic itself, I’ve been working on it and will be updating it again soon, possibly by the end of this week, so there’s that to look forwards to! Or not, you know.

Anyways, thanks for visiting, please come back, and remember I love comments!

3 RESPONSES TO ID FEATURED COMICPRESS SITE, AUTHOR CAUGHT WITH PANTS DOWN
admin Says:

I got a lot of visits in the last few days… like 8x the max amount of visits I had ever had. So I was a bit puzzled that absolutely nobody left a comment. I mean, dozens of people, nobody had anything to say?

Of course, then I realized I had left out the comments template from the single post template. Duh!

sirmokona Says:

Hey! I’ve been following your comics and I like the theme of your wepcomic, the story and the technical side looks very well implemented, in fact, I would love to know how to put thumbnail navigation :D it looks awesome on your comic and, if anything, I would find the left column too space-demanding for the content value, then again, your comic is of a fixed sized, so this is an unecessary complain. It’s all very great =D

karchesky Says:

Thank you for your kind words, Sir Mokona. Hope you enjoy the comics yet to come!

You can download a recent version of this site’s theme here, and you can take the thumbnail navigation from there and use it on your site. If you have any questions about how it’s done feel free to ask me, or drop by the ComicPress forums. See ya!
